A shocking news has came out that Madras High Court judge has ordered Rajinikanth and film producer Rockline Venkatesh, B Ponkumar, Director K S Ravikumar and the General Secretary of South Indian Film Writers Association to present before court for a trial. The case is that K R Ravirathinam (Plaintiff) claims that the story of Lingaa has been stolen from him and he demands settlement for the movie.
The reason court summoned all of them is because the case need to be settled within April 30. At first before the release the court ordered producer of the movie to deposit a sum of 5 crore by demand draft and 5 crore by band guarantee. On which the producer pleaded before the supreme court that the movie need to be released quickly on which court agreed to upon 1 crore as bank guarantee.
