Rajesh Pillai’s Traffic can be named as the movie which ignited the new age cinema in Malayalam. Even though his next movie Mili was a dud. His latest movie Vettah is spot on. The movie will make you excited and anxious a lot, to be short Vettah serves the purpose of a decent thriller. Script of Vettah has been cleverly written which makes it the clear winner among the Friday release this week. The scenes in Vettah almost of it was tightly packed and was well conceived. And the most astounding thing about Vettah is that the movie will drag you to the story within no time.

Plot
As the movie is a thriller not much about the plot can be revealed. Manju Warrier plays the role of a police officer with the name Sreebala. The movie is about case investigation that Sreebala and her colleagues carry out.

Acting
Manju Warrier has done her part well. Kunchacko Boban role in the movie is brilliant. Indrajith’ as usual has handled his role flawlessly. Sanusha Santosh, Vijayaraghavan, Sreenivasan, Prem Prakash, Deepak Parambol, Kottayam Naseer etc has also done justice to their roles.

Music
Songs were just OK nothing special about it. BGM of Vettah was good and has elevated the mood of the movie.

Technicality
Brilliant cinematography, Audio section of the movie was exceptional. Editing could have been bit more crisp.

Verdict
A well written thriller and will give you the chill that you expect.
