One more to be added to the list of so called new generation movies. This has nothing more than the usage of absurd language and medium intelligent script. Buddy is one among them. It’s loaded with double meaning language which will be uneasy for family audiences and will be enjoyed by young people.
Meenakshi (Asha sharath) and Dr. Padma(Bhoomika Chawla) are two fiends living together. Both of them is living with their son Vishnu .He was born through artificial insemination. He was raised in such a way that both of them became mother to him. Meenakshi and Asha live a kind enjoyable life which might be bad to this society life.
As time passes by young Vishnu’s mind is filled with anxiety to know his mother and father and he asks Meenakshi about this and she reveals that his father in living in Ooti. He packs his bag and goes for a journey to Ooti.
Next scene in this movie is beautiful Ooti. In this place there is a millionaire named Maanikunju Thaadukaran who leads a typical cubby bachelor life with his friends. Coincidentally Vishnu becomes a part of this group and lots of fun stuffs happen in this part of the movie.
As time passes by old villain of Indian cinema kicks in that is cancer and the movie goes through an unwanted melodrama.
Through out the movie we can see the lack of a good script. It seems that the movie is more emphasized on the usage of bad language. The presence of Lal and Srikanth as a guest role is mysterious. More over this movie can be enlisted to the genre of typical Anoop Menon movie.
