Actor Jagannatha Varma's (77) death has put Mollywood in shock. His death happened at a private hospital in Neyyattinkara. The actor was famous for his feudal villain roles and has been a part of more than 550 movies in his glorious movie career.
Jagannatha Varma's acting career in movies began with the movie Mattoli in 1978 and ended in 2013 with the movie Dolls. He was also a part of TV serials and the last one he acted was for Mangalyapattu which is on air still in Mazhavil Manorama. He is also Kathakali artist who started his rigorous training at the age of 14 under the legend Pallipuram Gopalan
Jagannatha Varma and his roles have always been a part of big budget movies. His villainous roles were key to the success of most of the movies. Lelam, Pathram, Aaram Thamouran, New Delhi, Sukhamo Devi etc were some of the most famous movies that he has been a part of.
